Lemon Butter

A very traditional favourite. It really is just what it says, made from lemons, butter, sugar, eggs.

All ingredients locally sourced, mostly organic. No artificial thickeners or preservatives.

Nice to use in a small pastry shell with meringue on top or smothered on a crumpet or some toasted sour dough.

I must confess I sometimes eat it straight from the fridge when I have a scratchy throat. I call it “my medicine”. It works wonders!
